Radiolytic decomposition of zearalenon in wheat grains

Mamedov Kh.F.

Rather big concentration (1,3 mg/kg) of zearalenon in the wheat grains infected with microscopic fungi Fusarium roseum have been found out. The kinetics of radiolytic decomposition of zearalenon in wheat grains and in water solutions have been studied. The absorbed dose of ionizing radiation equal 25 êÃð, provides full sterilization of wheat grains, infected with fungi, and decomposition of the zearalenon, synthesized by fungi F.roseume. The sterilization of wheat grains by a dose equal to 25 êÃð, provides their long storage and doesn’t cause negative changes in them.

Keywords
