Immunological aspects of pathogenesis of human papillomavirus infection in the female reproductive tract

Human papilloma virus (HPV) high-risk belongs to initiating role in the development of cervical neoplasia. Immune system plays an important role in malignancy genesis, and foremost – state of women’s reproductive tract local protection. The immunological parameters (functional activity of neutrophils, the concentration of immunoglobulin A, M, G, and levels of IFN-a, IFN-g, IL-1b, IL-2, IL-4, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-a) of cervical mucus were studied on 156 patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia I, II, III degrees, associated with HPV infection. The nature of changes in immunological parameters of cervical mucus in the study of pathology, has not only a unidirectional trend, but the distinctive characteristics of the light to heavy, complicated course of the disease, which determines the important role of cellular and humoral immunity factors in the pathogenesis of diseases cervix, associated with HPV infection. |
