Molecular-biological and cellular mechanisms of allograft rejection reaction and its suppression

The article presents current data on the mechanisms of allograft rejection. Molecular biological and cellular mechanisms of recognition of alloantigen, T-cell activation, the main effector mechanisms of T-cells and B-cells, as well as some methods of suppressing the rejection reaction are described. Conclusions are drawn about the most promising targets for suppressing the reaction of rejection of an allograft.
