The article presents an analysis of literature about actinomycosis of skin, and there are also the authors own observations. The literature review shows that actinomycetins opportunistic microorganisms of human biocenosis/ In an human organism actinomycetins are found on skin, in oral cavity and plaque, in tonsils lacunae, in upper respiratory tract and bronchus, on mucous of gastrointestinal tract, vagina and rectal columns. An actinomycotic process is also caused by aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, and they play a big role in disease formation. There are three stages in the spread of the disease: infiltrative stage, abscess formation and fistulous stage. In most cases the skin damage arises after injure of organs and tissues, and the woody infiltration appears (pathognomonic sign). The clinical forms of the disease are distinguished depending on theis location: cervicofacial, thoracic, abdominal, genital and other rare forms. In the literature review there is a rational approach to therapy of skin actinomycosis. In one case, a 11-year-old girl had been getting a symptom control without identification of agent and setting a clinical diagnosis for a long time. An optimized specific therapy with actinolysate worked to stabilize the process and contributed absorption of infiltrates. However, the 2nd patient has a small result of such treatment (infiltration remains). It may require an examination of Begleitflora antibiotic sensitivity and repeated actinolysate course.
